Planner Stamping: May 2016 Monthly

The Organizing Companion has free monthly printables available on her website, not her Etsy shop.  I love how she makes them match her monthly kits.  I personally like having white space in my planner, but if you don't, this is a great option for those to get more stickers that match.

I didn't get the April monthly kit from her, as I didn't find her until the May kit released.  Katherine got me with the flamingos, lol.  I decided to use her free printable from April for this layout.  I also made this layout for the Happy Planner Instagram Challenge.

Though I don't tend to use purple much, I love how this came together.  The green really pops out and I think gives it good contrast.  I wanted to get the guest room ready, but to be honest, it's still not quite set up.  It'll get there one of these days!  Have a great day everyone!

Planner Stamping: May 2016 Dashboard

I don't usually use a lot of purple in my crafting in general.  But I love this paper pack (really, who am I kidding?  I love all of my basic grey paper, lol.) and knew it would be a good match for this month.  I wanted to play with my new markers a little more too, so I colored a flower from Impress.

A lot of times I don't use all of the sections on the dashboard, so I tend to decorate more.  But when I need more space, it's nice to have.  With Mother's Day this month, it was nice to be able to keep track of what gifts I needed to get and send.

Being so busy this year, I put off planning Boston's birthday.  Though we've been in our new house for 6 months, we aren't ready to have all of mine and Brent's family over yet.  With us working opposite schedules and having different days off, it's just hard to get everything together, lol.  It's slowly coming together...though we still need a new couch set for the living room.

Planner Stamping: April 25 - May 1, 2016 Work

I bought some stickers from Caress Press, and while the designs are super cute, I have decided I don't like vinyl stickers.  I stuck with it since I felt like I just needed to use these stickers up, lol.  I do love watermelon though and love green and pink together!

I decided at this point to start writing my projects in the left column.  I used to put my weekly tasks there, but since my project list is typically long, I just felt like it was better space used.  I just write things in, even if I don't need it done by a specific day.

I really like my new set up and I think I will keep it going forward.  I wanted to cover the shaded weekends, so I put sticker paper over.  I think it came out okay, but have to say that I'm excited my new planner will have white weekends!  Have a great day!

Planner Stamping: April 25 - May 1, 2016 - My Favorite Things Sweet Succulents

I got new stamps and my distress markers this week.  I wanted to try them out, so I colored the images on watercolor paper.  I wanted my images to pop out a little more, so I went very neutral with my decorating.  For my first attempt, I didn't think it was too shabby.

Since my family went down to California for my cousin Scott's wedding, I needed to drop off and pick up Michael and Emily from the bus stop.  Since my dad lives in a rural area, the bus stop is kinda far from the house.

Since I was with the kids, I think I didn't plan out my dinners.  I looked recently (August 2016) and they're still blank on the right page, lol.  I know I took them out on Friday to Applebees, but I don't really remember the rest.  Typically, I'm really good about going back and writing in what I actually did.  Well, hope you all have a great day!

Planner Stamping: April 18 - 24, 2016 Work

These are the pantone colors of the year and I just love how Christy's kit for February came out.  With my weekend boxes shaded blue, I knew this set would be perfect for it.  It is kinda pattern heavy, but I like how I color blocked it.

As you can see, my work and projects shift around all the time.  I help support the field, so many times that can take up a lot of my time.  We're always adding new projects or updating stuff, so my material projects are never ending.  Not complaining...but that's why my planner can look kinda crazy sometimes. :)

Hope you have a fabulous day!

Planner Stamping: April 18 - 24, 2016 - Sparkle Creations Charlotte with a Rose

{I'm backdating my posts to the week that is dated in my planner.}  I'm a spring baby, I tend to like spring-ish things.  This a week of the Happy Planner Instagram challenges and I love this sticker set from Two Lil Bees.  I decided to use Charlotte with a Rose and I love how it all came together.

Boston ended up being sick most of this week, so as you can see, I ended up having to reschedule a few things.  But I did get some happy mail and some Starbucks!

I hope you all have a great day!

Planner Stamping: April 11 - 17, 2016 Work

{I'm backdating my posts to the week that is dated in my planner.}  I didn't work this week, as this was Brent's vacation.  Because OCD me couldn't bare the thought of having a blank layout in my planner, I {had} to decorate it!  One of the Happy Planner Instagram challenges was polka dots, so I made this layout for that.

This isn't my typical color scheme at all, but I wanted to use up some of my stuff.  Before I started planning, I felt like I didn't have any stickers.  Now I feel like I have way too much, lol.  At least I have a better idea now of what's really working for me.

I hope you all have a great day!

Planner Stamping: April 11 - 17, 2016

{I'm backdating my posts to the week that is dated in my planner.}  Brent was off work this week, so I took the week off too.  Aside from going up to Seattle for a few days, we were home most of this week.  I didn't craft at all this week and went back to fill all of this the week after.  The OCD in me can't have any blank pages, lol.

To save time, I just used a sticker kit I got from Two Lil Bees.  Since I did the layout after the fact, I decided I would include a couple of pictures of us as well.  I just printed them on cardstock and trimmed then down to fit the space I had.  Since Boston will be turning 2 in June, I'm planning on putting in daily pictures of him in my planner.  We'll see how it goes, but I think it might inspire me to memory keep a little bit more.

We cleaned our closet and weeded our yard!  One of the days while Boston was at daycare, we went out for a date lunch.  We used one of our gift cards that we still had from a Year of Dates.  Later that day, we took Boston to his future high school's baseball game.  Of course West Linn's school colors are yellow and green (same as University of Oregon), but it's alright...I still love my Beavers!  Have a great day everyone!
