Before I start, this is where I stand with Sparkle Creations. I had hoped to re-open my store in 2015. Unfortunately, since I'm in the middle of moving, I can't really do that. One, I need a new business license for Oregon, since I have a Washington one. Two, I don't think my in-laws would appreciate the mass amount of rubber in their house. Three, my goal this year, will take any spare moment I have. Now, don't worry. I'm not closing Sparkle Creations. I'm just not opening back up yet.
My goal this year is to go back to school and get my Masters. I plan to do a Masters of Education program, with an emphasis in Adult Secondary Learning. (I'm pretty much getting a degree in what I already do. I create training materials.) I still want greater things for my day job career and I feel like getting my Masters is the next step for me. The nice thing about this program too, is that if I ever wanted to do more than Corporate Training, I can get my teaching certificate and teach at a community college.
I started this prior to getting pregnant with Boston. But I feel like if I don't make myself get back into this now, it will be years before I do. So, I am making this my one and only goal. Because I need to become an Oregon resident again, I won't be able to start school until the fall. Aside from whatever Boston may need, I am putting everything else on hold.
Getting my Masters has always been on my bucket list. Though I don't have any new progress to add or things to cross off, I thought I would include it.

What are your goals for 2015?!? I hope everyone is enjoying the new year!

awesome goals! I picked up my bachelors when the kids were 8 & 6 and finished it up 2 years later. I do want to go back for a masters degree but will wait until the kids are done with college, this year is when both of them will be in college, at the same time...$$$$
ReplyDeleteI can help you cross off a few things on your bucket list...Stop over here in VA and it'll be done! Glad you're going back to school and "getting it done". I got my masters in teaching out of the way in 2005 and am looking forward to the next stepping stone...my Doctorate.
ReplyDeleteI'll be patiently waiting for SC to reopen.
