Grim Creeper Halloween Card and Trickortreatabella Card

Welcome to my fun and creepy Halloween!  Regardless of how you are (or maybe not) celebrating this holiday, I at least hope you have a little fun with me today.  My friends and I thought it would be funny to make up some creepy and stalker-ish sentiments, so I decided to do another fun little creation.  Can you believe it's been a year already since we started doing these?!?

Well, at Summer CHA, we were fortunate to get our caricatures drawn again.  Since Shaela will be moving soon, she has become my next victim, lol.  I was inspired by a cute and sweet card that my friend Sem made.  Of course I had to twist my version for this creation!

If you know me well, I'm not really a fan of yellow.  But Shaela loves yellow (especially yellow umbrellas) so I thought it would be appropriate for this project.  For you Pretty Little Liars fans, I really felt like I was having an 'A' moment with the phone texts. :)

Okay, I can't seem to break my Halloween tradition and this is my 5th year in a row making a Treatortreatabella card.  I still laugh just has hard as the first day I read this comment.  Maybe one day I'll out grow it.  (I think I say that every year, lol.) Till then, at least I'm getting good use out of this stamp!

This year I decided to put skinny jeans on Bella, lol.  I actually think this turned out adorable and I love how it has more of a fall feeling than Halloween.  With the Manager's Conference last weekend, I didn't plan on anything fun for Halloween this year.  But I will be handing out candy tonight after I get home from work.

For those celebrating, I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Halloween!  Stay warm and enjoy some candy!  Anyone have any fun costumes this year?  My friend Suzanne also made a card today too, so make sure to visit her blog!

SCRS Challenge #116 - Center or Side Step Card and Cocktail Emily Surprise Birthday Card

Welcome to Week 2 of Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge #116!  We appreciate you taking the time to join our challenge and look forward to seeing your creations each week. You have until Sunday, 11/3/13 @ 9 PM PST to play along with our current challenge which is to make a center or side step card:

Our challenge is open to all players. Every 2 challenges (4 weeks) a random winner will be chosen, and the winner will receive a SCRS rubber stamp! In order to qualify for a prize, you must use a Sparkle Creations image on your creation. Most importantly, have fun! We can't wait to see your creations!

My MIL is turning 60 in January and since I wanted to make something fun and special for her, I got a major head start.  We're planning a surprise birthday for her in Vegas.  I'll be cutting my CHA trip early to celebrate with the Smith family.  I will admit, I'm late to the trends and this is the first time I've ever made a side step card.  If you need instructions, please check out this tutorial on Splitcoast.

To play along in our challenge, upload a photo of your project and provide a direct link in the linky widget at the bottom of this SCRS post. If for any reason the linky isn't there, please add a link to your challenge creation in the comments below. If you use an online gallery (e.g. Splitcoast), please also use the keywords SCRSC116 and SparkleCreations (no spaces). If you have a Facebook account and are a fan of Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps, you can also upload there. Deadline for challenge #116 is Sunday, November 3 @ 9 PM PST.

I hope you all have a great Tuesday!

Sketch Saturday #282 and Anya Blooms Birthday Card

Good morning and welcome back for another week at Sketch Saturday!  Come play along with us this week for a chance to win a prize from our sponsor Stamp Fairy!  The prize this week is a $10 gift certificate.

I made this card for my friend Jenn's birthday, which was back in September.  I borrowed this stamp from my friend +Peggy Toole when I was up in Vancouver last June, just like last week's image.  I'm just getting around to using up the images I stamped on our fun birthday and crafting weekend.

Though I was a little sad this year to say goodbye to summer, I just love the fall season.  The crisp air, the leaves changing, and sweater weather!!  I also love sunflowers and thought this image would be fun for a fall birthday.

This weekend is my annual Manager's Conference, so I will be up in Bellevue.  As always, I'm super excited to see the trainers!!  Though this is the first conference that Brent won't be attending, so I'm quite sad about that.  No fancy matching outfits this year!  Regardless, I know I'll have a blast and I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday!
