SCRS Challenge #114 - Color Challenge and Seattle Chloe Birthday Card

Welcome to Week 2 of Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge #114!  We appreciate you taking the time to join our challenge and look forward to seeing your creations each week. You have until Sunday, 10/6/13 @ 9 PM PST to play along with our current challenge which is a double embossing challenge:

Our challenge is open to all players. Every 2 challenges (4 weeks) a random winner will be chosen, and the winner will receive a SCRS rubber stamp! In order to qualify for a prize, you must use a Sparkle Creations image on your creation. Most importantly, have fun! We can't wait to see your creations!

It's my friend Suzanne's birthday on Thrusday and this is the card I made for her.  It's Seattle Chloe, minus the Space Needle.  We both love our Starbucks, so I thought this would be a great image to use.  I am just loving grey this year and this color combo came together quite nicely.

To play along in our challenge, upload a photo of your project and provide a direct link in the linky widget at the bottom of this SCRS post. If for any reason the linky isn't there, please add a link to your challenge creation in the comments below. If you use an online gallery (e.g. Splitcoast), please also use the keywords SCRSC114 and SparkleCreations (no spaces). If you have a Facebook account and are a fan of Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps, you can also upload there. Deadline for challenge #114 is Sunday, October 6 @ 9 PM PST.

I hope you all have a great Tuesday!  Who's excited for Biggest Loser next week?!?

Sketch Saturday #278 and Fumi with Umbrella Birthday Card

Good morning, it's time for another Sketch Saturday!  Come play along with us this week for a chance to win a prize from our sponsor Wings & Willows.  The prize this week is a $10 gift certificate.

I decided to flip the sketch vertically for my card.  It was my friend Leanne's birthday last month and I was asked to participate in a special birthday post for her.  I always look forward to seeing Leanne and Renate at CHA!

I got this stamp in January and I'm finally getting around to using it.  I think she is just darling and really perfect for any fun occasion.  I love how bright and cheery my card turned out.

I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday!  Today I'll be joining a new crafting group at the library.  I think it'll be fun to meet more crafting peeps and have a good time!  Anyone doing anything fun?
