This is the first time I've colored and created in the last 2 weeks!  It feels good to be back in the swing of things for a bit.  Before I left to go on vacation, I had friends over for the weekend.  Thanh was so sweet to give me a Canucks tee!!  So, I made her a thank you card.  I will post more about my trip soon. :)

To play along in our challenge, upload a photo of your project and provide a direct link in the linky widget at the bottom of the SCRS post. If you use an online gallery (e.g. Splitcoast), please also use the keywords SCRSC78 and SparkleCreations (no spaces). I hope you all have a lovely Tuesday!  I'm hoping Jeremy will come in for the big win on Biggest Loser...though I'm sure Kim will win.

Though they aren't that good, lol, I still love my Seattle Mariners.  And I used Mariner colors for my card.  Brent and I typically go to at least a couple of games each year, so I am happy that baseball season is back.  I can't wait for those yummy garlic fries! :)

I chose this inspiration picture because I'm going to Mexico in a couple of weeks.  But I really, really wanted to use my new Basic Grey paper, lol.  I actually had Swimming Lucy on my card, but I thought it looked funny with the lanterns.  So I ended up putting Rin on there instead.

Rainy Day Ruby Sending a Box of Sunshine

I know, you all were starting to lose faith in me, lol.  On one of my couponing blogs, I saw this idea to send a box of sunshine.  Basically, you just fill it up with yellow stuff.  My best friend is going through some major life changes, and living on opposite sides of the country makes it hard for me to be there for her.  I hope she gets a little smile out of all this.

I went out shopping and I was able to get some pretty fun stuff.  Honestly, I'm not really a yellow fan.  Luckily, Catherine loves yellow, so it worked out well.  But I'm trying to come up with some other cute names that go with other colors.  Here is what I all got Catherine.  I think the only thing she won't use is the yellow eyeliner, lol.  But she might surprise me. :)

Well, I live in the land of rain, so it would actually be nice to have some sunshine!!  I hope you all have a great Monday and I will be back tomorrow with my next Sparkle Creations challenge card.
