The Craft's Meow November Sneak Peeks - Whoo's Birthday

Today I am showing you a sneak peek of Whoo's Birthday by Jenny Suchin Designs.  Isn't this just adorable?!?  This is the first time I've colored since I returned home last weekend from my Copic class up in Canada.  (Don't worry, I'll be doing a seperate post on that soon.)  I'm trying to apply the things I learned, so my coloring might be a bit wonky for the next few months!

Check out The Craft's Meow blog to see more darling sneak peeks from the design team!  And good luck at your chance of winning this adorable stamp set!

I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Halloween!  I will be passing out candy as soon as I get home from work!

The Craft's Meow November Sneak Peek - Vintage Snowflakes

Today I have a card made with Vintage Snowflakes by Nina B Designs. I only used one of the sentiments, but it's a gorgeous set!  So, I'm sure you've noticed that I have used 3 different Christmas lines from Basic Grey, lol.  And don't worry, I still have one more coming. :)  It's a shame that I don't have any Figgy Pudding paper left.

Check out The Craft's Meow blog to see the rest of the sneak peeks from the design team!  And good luck on your chance to win this gorgeous stamp set!

I haven't felt that great the last couple of days.  I really hope I'm not getting sick!  I hope you all have a great Sunday!

Tonight Brent and I are going to a Halloween party.  The party has a Western theme, so we're going as a Cowboy and an Indian.  I hope you all have a safe holiday weekend!

The Craft's Meow November Sneak Peek - The Merry Best

I was super excited when Lisa asked me to be a guest designer at The Craft's Meow.  I have gotten to spend the last 2 CHAs with her and it's always such a great time!  I really wish she lived closer to me so we could hang out more often!

the craft's meow.

Today I have a sneak peek at the The Merry Best stamp set, by Kaitlyn Ord.  Wowza, I actually made a card with no coloring, lol!  I love how it all came together though and gotta love the bling!

On a more personal note, I finished the training of my big project at work.  I hope to be back on a more normal schedule and back in blog land more regularly!  Everyone have a fabulous's almost the weekend!

Wish You Were Here Hula Girl Lucy

Today is my mom's 7 year anniversary of passing.  I celebrate this day every year by making a Hawaiian themed project, as my mom was born, raised, and buried in Hilo, Hawaii.  If you want to read my story, it's here in the 5 year anniversary post.

I had a hard time choosing between Hula Girl Lucy and Ukulele Josh, but finally decided on Lucy.  I used the matching rub-ons with white cardstock and then trimmed around the flowers.  It's a more simple card for me, but I love how it turned out.

Though we won't be going on my actual birthday (April 2012), we'll be going to Hawaii as my 30th 29 again birthday present.  We're actually going to Cabo the week after my birthday, so we're thinking of going in August.  I'm really torn between visiting my family in Oahu or going to Maui, lol.  Regardless, we'll be headed back to the Big Island for a couple of days to visit my mom and my grandparent's graves.

I'll be driving home today from Canada and will share all about the Copic Intermediate class soon.  I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday.  Tell all your loved ones that you love them and cherish the moments you have with them!

Fall Charlotte Bookmark and Crafty Contagion Challenge #2 - Pumpkins

BLOG UPDATE: First off, I figured out what is wrong with my blog and my background should be fixed soon! Second thing...I don't have product links for today or tomorrow's posts.  If you have questions, just email me.  Thanks!

You may not remember, but one of my local crafting groups decided to start a challenge blog, the Crafty Contagion.  We recently did a huge buy-in for twine and I suggested that we do challenges to make sure we were actually using this stuff .  Since we meet the 2nd Saturday of each month, I thought it would be really casual and we'd just bring whatever we did to the next meeting.

Oh, no...of course it couldn't be that easy, lol.  It turned into a blog, design team, and me being Captain of Team B.  Sandy, Kelly, and I started this craft group the Fall of 2009 on Splitcoast and though, I've always have had other crafty friends here in Seattle, this group has been a true blessing to me.

Today's challenge is PUMPKIN.  And you can interpret that in any way you would like - images, color, sentiments, etc.  Check out the Stamping Together Divas blog to see the rest of the DT's darling creations.

Sadly, this is very last of my Indian Summer paper pack.  I will actually really miss this pack, as I'm not really into Fall colors.  I tend to be more into Winter and Summer pallets.  I'll admit it, I'm actually reading more than one book at a time, so I was in need of another book mark. :)  Normally, I hate reading different things at the same time.  But one book is on nutrition, so kindof boring, lol.  And the other is my typical murder mystery.

I hope you all have a great Saturday!  Today I'll be taking my Intermediate Copic Marker class!  I'll be back tomorrow with a special post.  Much love all!
