Sending You Sunshine with Surfing Oliver

Just a reminder, everything in the store is 10% off through August 1st.  The code is VAC10SALE.  You can click here to buy stamps now!

Though this is pet paper pack, I just love the rich colors in it.  A more simple type of card for me, but I tend to do that with my guy cards.  I really like how my distressed edges turned out though.  I also used Skipping Stones Design Sketch #34 for this.

Paper: Basic Grey Max and Whiskers
Stamps: Sparkle Creations, sentiment is Amuse
Copics, Nestabilities, PTI Buttons, Twine, and Rhinestones

Everyone have a great Saturday!  Today I will be hiking and seeing the Old Faithful Geyser.  Don't forget to come back tomorrow for TGF 2nd anniversary blog hop!

Birthdays are the Best with Scooter Chloe

Just a reminder, everything in the store is 10% off through August 1st.  The code is VAC10SALE.  You can click here to buy stamps now!

You can't ever have too many birthday cards, right? Honestly, it never really seems like I ever really have any, lol. Usually, I'm making them and then just mailing them right now.  I love making her scooter pink and this paper pack just went so well with it!  I also used ESS Sketch #93 for this.

Paper: Basic Grey Olivia
Stamps: Sparkle Creations, sentiment is Amuse
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Nestabilities, Rhinestones, and Copics

Everyone have a great Thursday!  I don't have a card for tomorrow since Critter Crew is off, but I do have posts for the rest of the weekend!

Life's a Beach Calliope

This is another image that I colored while I was at Shaela's, pretty much a month ago, lol. I'm slowly getting there using up my Kraftin Kimmie stamps.  Can you tell that I'm in a pink mood?!?  I just love pink and green together.

Paper: Basic Grey Olivia
Stamps: Kraftin Kimmie
Prima Flowers, Twine, PTI Buttons, Copics, Crystal Stickles, and Rhinestones

I hope you all have a great hump day!  Brent said that there were suppose to be thunder showers.  Cross your fingers that we'll have better weather!  At least we're staying in a cabin and not tent camping. :)  If we get stuck inside, I'll be coloring, lol.

SCRS Challenge #3 - Inspiration Challenge, Charlotte with a Rose Card, and VACATION Sale

As you all know, I'm going on vacation this week.  So, Brent and I decided to have a little sale while we're gone and everything in the store is 10% off through August 1st.  The code is VAC10SALE.  There is no minimum requirement and is good for all orders.  As a reminder though, all orders will not ship out until Tuesday, August 3rd.  You can click here to buy stamps now!

This week's challenge is an inspiration challenge.  Don't forget to check out the Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps blog to see the rest of the DT's lovely creations.

I picked the picture...but yet found the challenge to be hard, lol.  I finally decided on the strawberry paper and eventually the card came together.

If you use an online gallery (e.g. Splitcoast), please also use the Keyword SCRSC03. If you have a Facebook account and are a fan of Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps, you can also upload there. Little Paper Shop Challenge #78 - Color Challenge

This week's challenge is a color challenge. Don't forget to check out the Little Paper Shop blog to see the rest of the DT's lovely creations.

I know you can't really have a green owl and a pink mushroom. But I had fun with this challenge. A great way to use up scraps that I've had sitting around for awhile.

Paper: SU
Stamps: Little Paper Shop
Pearls, EK Success Border Punch, Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Twine, and Copics

Everyone have a fabulous Monday!  It's back to work for me...and then vacation time!  I'm gonna miss the Men Tell All tonight...so no spoilers.  I'm interested in what Justin will say.  Better watch out for Rated R, lol.

Sketch Saturday #113 and Cocktail Emily

It's my boss's birthday next Saturday. I will be in Yellowstone and she will be in Kansas helping her parents move.  With everyone's vacation plans, Monday is going to be the only day that ALL of us will be there for the next 3 weeks.  So, we're celebrating early, lol.  I always get out of getting the cake by making the card. :)

My boss is an orange fan, so I decided to use fun and bright citrus colors.  Though picking grey was probably counter productive.  I guess it's the explanation of a Seattle summer in a nutshell, lol.  I also used Sketch Saturday #113 for this.

Paper: Basic Grey Sugar Rush
Stamps: Sparkle Creations, sentiment is Amuse
Impress Felt, Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Rhinestones, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

I hope you all have a great Saturday!  I am getting my hair done and shopping for new shorts!

Farm Fresh Friday - Don't Forget to Floss Challenge

This week's challenge is to use Embroidery Floss on your card or project.  Don't forget to check out The Greeting Farm blog to see the rest of the DT's lovely creations.

It's Jessica's birthday today!  So, we thought it would be fun to do a surprise blog hop for her!  If you came from Sandra's blog, you're right on track!  I hope she has a wonderful day and a fabulous celebration!  For the full list of the blog hop participants, please check out the Club Anya and Friends blog

Today is also a bittersweet day for me, as this is my last Critter Crew card.  Next week we're off because of the huge TGF anniversary release, but I will be participating in the anniversary blog hop and that will be my last day on the farm.  But this doesn't mean goodbye...I will definitely still be loitering the farm, lol.  It'll be really hard for Marie and Jess to fully get rid of me. :)

Irvin is my most absolute favorite of all, so I decided to use him today.  And just because it was more fitting, I thought using the Club Anya and Friends Sketch from last Saturday.  Only I changed it to a regular card size and did not keep it a square card.

Of course we can't have a birthday celebration without PRIZES!  There will be a prize given to one random commenter on the Club Anya and Friends blog.  All you have to do is tell Jess happy birthday!

The prize is Creeper Monday and Creeper Wednesday.  You have until Sunday night at 8:00pm CST to get your comment in and Amy will announce the winner on Monday.

Now it's time to go to {Amber's blog}!  Everyone have a fabulous Friday!  It's almost the weekend!

Announcement and Cupcake Ruby for Catherine

First off, I want to let you all know that I will be on vacation July 27th through August 1st.  Though I won't be home to ship orders, I will still have internet access.  All orders that are placed during that time, will ship out on Tuesday, August 3rd.  I have taken Monday, August 2nd off from my day job, so I will be home packaging all of your orders!

Today is my best friend's birthday. Sadly, she is in Washington, DC and I am in Seattle, but I hope she has a wonderful celebration.  I haven't seen her since New Years...and unfortunately, I don't think I'll see her til next summer - as I plan on going to CHA. :)   Here is a picture of me, Catherine, and our friend/sorority sister Katie.

I decided to use Cupcake Ruby for Catherine's card.  I almost never color my images with blonde hair, but I like how she turned out.  I also used Taylored Expressions Sketch #121 for this.

Paper: Basic Grey Nook and Pantry
Stamps: Sparkle Creations, sentiment is AmyR Stamps
Nestabilities, Copics, Prima Flowers, Pearls, EK Success Border Punch, and Crystal Stickles

Everyone have a great Thursday!  Who will be the next Head of Household?!?

You're Fin-tastic Marina!

Sadly, I've had these images as soon as this stamp kit came out. While I was in Vegas, I colored a bunch of images at Shaela's. I'm just finally getting around to making cards with them. Better late then never, right?  I also used Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #78 for this.

Paper: Basic Grey Oliver
Stamps: Kraftin' Kimmie
Twine, PTI Buttons, MS Border Punch, Prima Flowers, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

Everyone have a fabulous hump day!  6 more days til I go to Yellowstone!

In order to qualify for a prize, you must use a Sparkle Creations image on your creation. Most importantly, have fun! We can't wait to see your creations!

I've had this Abbey's Road paper for over a year now and I'm finally just down to scraps.  The bright colors scream warmth and summer to me.  Can you tell I'm still in my pink and green mood?  And of course I gotta give the girl some fun bling!

Paper: My Minds Eye
Stamps: Sparkle Creations, sentiment is TGF
Nestabilities, Rhinestones, Copics, Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Twine, and Crystal Stickles

Sketch Saturday and Charlotte with a Rose Card

Today I'm playing along with Sketch Saturday #112. Lisa has a gorgeous Sparkle Creations card too as their guest designer for the month!

Sadly, this is only my second card using my Capella paper.  I just tend to think of Charlotte being more elegant I suppose.  So what do think of my photo?  On my work laptop I run CS4, so I have the full hefty Photoshop on there.  When Brent and I got the new computer, I put Elements on it.  I will say it's been hard to re-vert to not a full version, lol.

Paper: Basic Grey Capella
Stamps: Sparkle Creations, sentiment is Amuse
Twine, Nestabilities, Pearls, Copics, Crystal Stickles, Prima Flowers, and PTI Buttons

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.  My BIL and his wife are up here from Portland.  We're going to the Bite of Seattle!  I'm gonna try really hard to have a Christmas card done for tomorrow...we'll see.

Farm Fresh Friday - Digi-know? Challenge

Today's challenge is to use a digital stamp and a new technique you've been wanting to try or have recently gotten into. Don't forget to look at The Greeting Farm blog to see the rest of the DT's creations.

I just adore this Toby and wanted to use him for this challenge. My life has been so crazy lately, I didn't have time to get the other half of the challenge done. I got 3 fillings done on Wednesday and I haven't felt so well since then.  So sorry that I don't have any new techniques to share with you.

Sweet Cupcake Kiki Card for Berenice

First off, I wanted to let you all know that I now have my customer/fan blinkie up on the Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps blog.  The HTML code is on the right side, under my Feedblitz subscription.  I hope that you all love it as much as I do.  And again, thanks for all the support so far!  I really do appreciate it.

On the 5th was my friend Berenice's birthday.  Ever since I went to Vegas for work...I've been trying to catch up with life and I apologize for being such a slacker!  Regardless, here is the card I made her.  I hope she had a wonderful 30th birthday!  The felt flower I made...but the numbers are felt Thickers.  Pretty neat-o, eh?

Paper: Basic Grey Kioshi

Our first challenge is an easy one for you...create anything that reminds you of summer!  Don't forget to check out the Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps blog to see the rest of the DT's lovely creations!

Making really masculine cards has always been hard for me. I'm an embellishment girl and I love to PILE it on, lol. Though this card is way more simple for my style, I like how it turned out.

To play along in our challenge, upload a photo of your project and provide a direct link in the linky widget at the bottom of the Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps blog post. If you use an online gallery (e.g. Splitcoast), please also use the Keyword SCRSC01. If you have a Facebook account and are a fan of Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps, you can also upload there. Welcome to the Little Paper Shop Blog hop! To start at the beginning of the blog hop, please go the LPS blog. If that's where you came from, then you're right on track.

Today's challenge is distressing.  I decided to do some paper edge distressing and did almost all of the edges of my designer paper.  We're also showcasing a new set, You Might Be Old, which will be available tomorrow.  I also used Eat, Sleep, and Stamp Sketch #91 for this.

Paper: SU

And just in case there are any broken links or you get lost along the way, here are all the participants for the blog hop.

I hope you all have a great Monday!  Now it's time to head over to {Joy's blog!}

My Pink Lantern Rin

Thank you everyone for such a lovely grand opening!  Wasn't the blog hop just phenomenal?!?  I really appreciate all the hard work and support everyone has given me.  The blog hop winners were announced yesterday, so if you haven't already, please check the Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps blog to see if you won.

I was inspired by Laurel's card and decided to paper piece Rin a cute little outfit together.  I am just loving this Olivia paper.

So since my life has been chaotic...I never checked in with my goals on the 1st. Though it probably won't surprise you, I haven't finished anything else off my list, lol. But I am happy to say that I did achieve something that actually wasn't on the list...Brent and I finally paid off all the appliances we bought for the house! So that means I won't be able to pay off my car...but I'm pretty happy with where we're at.

Everyone have a fabulous Sunday! I'm hoping to come back later with a Christmas card.

Tomboy Scooter Chloe

*This is my 2nd post for today.  Please scroll down to see my TGF Farm Fresh Friday challenge card!*

The store opens at midnight Eastern Time tonight! We have a fun blog hop filled with prizes planned for you, so make sure you come back tomorrow for all the fun and excitement!

First I want to tell you a bit about the shop when you go shopping tomorrow. I put ALL the stamps for the release are under the New Products link. For August's release, I'll move them into their own categories.  I will be selling all of my images for $8 USD a piece.  All of the images are 'about' 3 x 4 inches.

I've been wanting to play with my Oliver paper...but didn't want to make a boy card, lol.  So I decided to use Scooter Chloe.  It's really rare I play with my Copic multiliners, but I decided to make stripes on Chloe's scarf.  I also used Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #76 for this.

I also wanted to let you all know that the {Shipping} and {FAQs} links have been updated on the Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps blog.  As for shipping, I can fit 8 stamps into the small priority box or envelope.  Anything more then that, it's gonna have to go into the bigger box or you can choose First Class if it doesn't weigh over the mailing limit.  I am running a special this weekend for the grand opening so this will be excluded from that, but typically if you choose to ship First Class, I will not be responsible for your package after it has been mailed.

Here's another card with Surfing Oliver.  Isn't he just adorable?!?  I love the rustic summer look of lazy days at the beach.  I wish summer would stay here forever.

This is the last of the 8 images I will be releasing on Saturday! Stephanie's birthday was back in May and this is the card I made her.  I adore Ruby, though I still believe that you shouldn't eat desserts that are bigger than your head, lol.  I used my blender pen to add texture on her dress.

First off, I have some really fun news! I got asked to be a guest designer for Little Paper Shop! Starting with their new release next week, I will be on the team through August! I am very excited!

First I have to apologize for posting so late.  Launching Canada and teaching a class in Las Vegas on top of trying to get my store open, I've just been running behind.  I hope with it being a 3 day weekend I can get all caught up!  I really appreciate all of your support and patience so far!

So while this Emily doesn't look anything like my sister, lol, I'm glad to have a character named after her.  Though she's only 4, I know she'll be just as sassy as this one!
