Rose's Garden

It was my MIL's birthday on Wednesday...and unfortunately I'm starting 2010 with sending out my birthday cards late. With spending Christmas and New Years down in Portland and not crafting for 2 weeks, I just didn't have time to get stuff done and mailed. It was also my friend Rachel's birthday on Wednesday and I will post her card on Monday.

Well, I haven't played with my Sarah Kays stamps in forever- so I decided to use this for my MIL's card. I'm trying to use more of my stuff that I already have and I'm trying to use up my scraps, so here's my dwindling pile of Bittersweet paper left. Maybe I went a little crazy with the stitching, lol...but at least they'll know their gift went to good use. :)

Paper: Basic Grey Bittersweet
Stamps: Sarah Kay, sentiment is PTI
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Pearls, Copics, and Nestabilities

Everyone have a fabulous Saturday! I will be cleaning my poor and neglected house from the holidays and then eating Mexican food with Yvonne and Tricia!

  1. I love it Sparkle! Those Sarah Kay images are so sweet. I think the stitching is great too. I'm a huge fan of lots of texture, so layers, stitching, flowers and buttons... who could ask for anything more?? Happy Saturday!
