Laundry Time with Hope and Grace

Thanks to everyone who participated on Saturday. I had a ton of fun reading all of your guesses! If you guessed a Hope and Grace girl, then you were right! Did anyone notice that Mary and I had the same stamp? And oddly, did you noticed that we both used yellow, blue, and green in our snippets?

I randomly drew and my winner for the Laundry stamp is {Joni H}. Please email Jessica at yeahshestamps@gmail.com to claim your prize! All of the stamps will be available for purchase at midnight tonight!

Well, this little one is tired of doing laundry, lol, so I thought I would make a nice and elegant card. Luckily for me, my hubby actually does more laundry than I do.

Paper: Basic Grey Offbeat
Stamps: The Greeting Farm, sentiment is Stamping Bella
Copics, Crystal Stickles, PTI Ribbon, MS Border Punch, Prima Flowers, Pearls, and PTI Buttons

Well, I hope you have a great Monday! It's back to work for me...but have tons of fun shopping in the middle of the night! :) I promise not to tell anyone, lol.

Christmas Card Challenge Week #39

If you're looking for The Greeting Farm Blog Hop, it's the post right below this one. You have until midnight tonight for a chance to win a free stamp!

I got my new PTI order this week...so I just had to use my new stuff. I have to learn and accept the fact that I CANNOT do simple and clean. Sigh. I tried to CASE a card from Heather Nichols and it just wasn't working for me. I just have to learn that I NEED the layers and embellishments, lol.

So this week's challenge is use something that represents nature. It can be a tree, holly berries, ivy, snow, pine cones...whatever you want.

Paper: PTI and SU
Stamps: PTI, CTMH Flourishes
PTI Buttons, PTI Ribbon, Nestabilities, Copics, Crystal Stickles, Twine and MS Border Punch

Between now and Sunday night at 11:59 pm, each team member has a stamp single or set to give to one random winner! The catch? The winner won't know what they've won until after they've won it! How's that for a September surprise?!?!?

So, whatcha think I've got for you today? Can't wait to see what you guess...and don't forget to leave a comment here before Sunday night at 11:59 PM CST and you'll be entered to win! And when you're done? Be sure to head back to the TGF Blog and leave a comment letting us know you've hopped, because one lucky person on the TGF Blog will win the entire release!

We also have another super announcement today. Please help us welcome our two new farmers, Cindy Haffner and Kadie Ensley! Cindy and Kadie are both former Gardeners and when we had some spots open up, we were happy to welcome them!

Farm Fresh Friday with TGF

This week's challenge is another sketch challenge. Check out the TGF blog for the actual sketch. Isn't this little Ian just darling?!? I try not to use glitter on my "boy" cards, but I just couldn't resist. I only put it on the presents and spared little Ian, lol.

Paper: Basic Grey Cupcake
Stamps: The Greeting Farm, sentiment is PTI
CTMH Ribbon, PTI Buttons, Dew Drops, Cuttlebug Embossing Number Folder, Nestiabilities, and Copics

Everyone have a great Friday...it's almost the weekend! Anyone have any fun plans? I will be posting something VERY FUN tomorrow, so don't forget to stop by!

Soccer Anya

For some reason, I always think of black and green when I think of soccer colors. I have scoliosis so I was never allowed to play high impact sports. But I think this little cute Anya could be Emily one day, lol.

I also used Jen del Muro's Sketch for this week. It's been a pretty popular sketch so far and I've seen alot of great cards with it! You all have to be really proud of me...I used Basic Grey scraps from Off Beat, Sultry, and Ambrosia. I totally love mixing and matching my BG papers!

Paper: Basic Grey
Stamps: The Greeting Farm
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Rhinestones, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

Everyone have a great Thursday! I think Jeff was dumb...because if Jordan doesn't win HOH tonight, he's gonna go up! I picked him to win, grr...

This is the card I made for Shannon to go with her album and cake. She totally loved that I pop-dotted the belly out! I do own all the other Momma Bellas, but I just love this one da best.

Stamps: Stamping Bella
Copics, MM Flowers, Buttons, CTMH Brads, MM Chipboard, and Crystal Stickles

Bewitched, Spooktacular, and Cute Pics!

As a kid, I remember watching Nick-at-Nite with my mom and I use to love watching Bewitched. Thats what this little darling Anya reminds me of. I bought this Heidi Grace paper last year and I'm finally just using it up, lol.

Paper: Heidi Grace
Stamps: The Greeting Farm
PTI Buttons, Copics, Nestiabilities, and Crystal Stickles

Isn't the new My Minds Eye paper just the cutest?!? I just love this little mummy!

Paper: My Minds Eye
Stamps: The Greeting Farm
Ribbon, PTI Buttons, Nestabilities, CTMH Brads and Copics

And this is what happens when you decide to give yourself a haircut at 3 1/2, lol. I was amused that Emily told me that her hair was "too" long, so she cut it. :) Anna fixed it as best as she could...and I think Anna did a pretty good job. It reminds me of the haircut that Hayley Mills had in the Parent Trap.

I also had a lovely time at Shannon's shower. I didn't realize this until I just looked back the pictures. The rest of us girls are wearing all the colors from Val's shirt, lol. You may also noticed that I cut my hair. I haven't had hair this short since my senior year in high school!

Everyone have a great Tuesday! I'm excited for BB and it's back to work for me...

Pixie Heidi in the Flowers

Here is my card for KL Stampin n Scrappin. Isn't this pixie just the cutest?!? I also used Amy R's sketch for this week, but I flipped it to accommodate my image. It's a more simple card for me, but I just love all the pink and green.

Paper: My Minds Eye Abbey Road
Stamps: CC Designs, sentiment is Amuse
Copics, Rhinestones, Crystal Stickles, American Crafts Ribbon, CTMH Brads, Twine, CTMH Buttons, and Nestabilities

Well, I hope you all have a great Monday! I actually have today off. I should have fun baby shower and bitty siblings pictures to share with you tomorrow. Before I left, my brother's girlfriend told me that Emily cut her own hair and it's about 4 inches long, lol. So I'm sure I'll have some funny pics. :)

Christmas Card Challenge Week #38

Many of you noticed that I changed my banner. With summer coming to an end, that means college football will be staring soon! :) For those won't don't know me as well, Brent and I went to rival colleges. Our big game at the end of the season is called the Civil War and thats when our schools play each other. Oregon vs Oregon State is actually one of the oldest rivalries in the Pac 10 division. Green is my favorite color...so sadly I went to the wrong University, lol. But I have a new love for orange this year, so I guess it makes up for it!

For this week's Christmas card, I used Taylor's sketch from two weeks ago, which is sketch #77. Sorry, I'm a bit behind with things, lol. You can either use her sketch or just make whatever you want!

Paper: My Minds Eye
Stamps: Whiff of Joy, sentiment is Amuse
Snowflake Punches, Crystal Stickles, PTI Buttons, MS Border Punch, CTMH Ricrac, Copics and Nestabilitie
s

I only got 2 sheets of the new My Minds Eye Christmas paper (was hard not to buy the whole set, lol) and wanted to make some fun cards. I love that it matches Razzleberry just perfectly. Still sad though that Kiwi Kiss is gone. My image is Whiff of Joy, though I got it from Wish RAK.

Shannon's Diaper Cake

Tomorrow I will be heading down to Portland for my friend Shannon's baby shower. I haven't see her since my wedding, so I'm very excited to see her!

For her gift, I bought the Making Memories 5th Avenue Elizabeth album and paper set. I made a scrapbook album and all she has to do is print and glue pictures down. :) I wanted to make my diaper cake match, so I used the same paper and colors as the album.

Shannon and Will are naming their daughter Alexandra Grace Hamerman. They still haven't picked between "Lexi" and "Alex," so I thought it would be safe to go with her initials.

I got the directions on how to make this from Susan Lile's blog. Click here for the {instructions}. There are full instructions and step-by-step photos in this post. I will not be doing a tutorial on how to make this, so please look at Susan's post if you're interested in making one.

I used Pampers Size 1 Swaddlers for the diapers. I think I used about 80 of them. There is a thing of Baby Powder and a plastic bottle in the middle of the cake as well. You'll also need rubber bands, string, and a cake topper. I bought the pink cow from Target and the cake is sitting on a 16 inch cake base board I got at Party City.

The flowers are from my stash and some are Making Memories that go with the 5th Avenue set. The chipboard letters are old Basic Grey...I bought these while I still lived in Denver, lol. I colored them with my Copics and then put glitter on top of them. :) You'll see that Susan used much more embellishments on her cake, but with the busy paper and bright colors, I felt I didn't need more on my cake.

Everyone have a great Saturday! I'm getting my garbage disposal installed!

Farm Fresh Friday with TGF

This week's challenge is another sketch challenge! Check out the TGF blog for the actual sketch. As I'm making room for the new Basic Grey paper, I'm trying to use up my stash. I mixed the orange papers from Offbeat and Ambrosia together. With Megan's sassy attitude, she is totally one of my favorites!

Paper: Basic Grey
Stamps: The Greeting Farm, sentiment is Amuse
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

Everyone have a great Friday, it's almost the weekend! I'm getting my hair done after work and I think I'm gonna get some new lip gloss. :)

Bella Sketch Challenge #80, Addy Tude Card and Veggiebella Birthday Card

As soon as I saw this Addy, I had to have her. I mean, with a sentiment like that, you all knew she would be first on my list! Please use the keyword BSC80 when uploading your card to the Bella Forum. The sketch for this challenge will be in Jamie's post.

Paper: Basic Grey
Stamps: Stamping Bella
Prima Flowers, Rhinestones, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

It's also Hope's birthday, so I made her this card. On Facebook, we both play a game called Farm Town. Unfortunately, our avatars on the game are not as cute as Bella, lol. All the girls in the game wear purple overalls, so I made Bella to reflect this. We take turns harvesting and plowing our farms...and we talk about stamps. :) Hope and I met through the Bella challenges and I truly enjoy having her as one of my fellow Splitcoast SistahBellas!

Paper: Basic Grey
Stamps: Stamping Bella, sentiment is PTI
PTI Buttons, Copics, Crystal Stickles, Prima Flowers, and Pearls

A $15 gift voucher to Stamping Bella will be awarded for EVERY WEEKLY CHALLENGE! Each winner will be randomly drawn and will be announced in the challenge thread one week after the challenge is posted.

Everyone have a great Thursday! I hope Natalie is leaving the BB House tonight!

Birthday Anya Card

I have 2 more August birthdays after this card...and I'm hoping that they will get their cards on time. :) I just love this Anya as she's so festive! I'm not a cake fan, but she's just adorable. I also used Card Patterns Sketch #28 for my card.

Paper: My Minds Eye Abby's Road
Stamps: The Greeting Farm, sentiment is Amuse
Prima Flowers, Copics, Rhinestones, Crystal Stickles, PTI Ribbon and Buttons

I hope you all have a great hump day!

My Sweet Friend

This card is for KL Stampin n Scrappin. I didn't quite get this photo edited in time for yesterday, so I'm a day late here. I also used Amy R's sketch for this card too. Isn't this Emma just darling?!? I also added pearls for her headband and belt.

Paper: My Minds Eye Bloom and Grow Paper
Stamps: CC Designs, sentiment is Whiff of Joy
Pearls, Copics, Nestabilities, and PTI Ribbon

I hope you all have a great Tuesday! I'm down to just having Big Brother for my summer shows...I seriously can't wait for my regular shows to come back on! :) But Big Brother is getting good! Can't wait to see what happens with the Veto tonight. Hopefully Chima really does go home this week. That would make me happy! And I'm totally with Kevin...omg, those girls crying over Jesse was pathetic!

Salzburg Layout

Our first stop on our honeymoon was Salzburg, Austria. Brent and Drew have been friends since elementary school and played tennis together in high school. Drew went to study abroad our freshmen year in college and fell in love with an Austrian girl, Lisa. They eventually got married and Drew moved over there after graduating college.

Paper: Making Memories Passport
Making Memories Passport Tags, Stickers, and Clip, Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, and Thickers

Drew and Lisa took us Downtown and we had a great time looking at all the shops. There was a festival going on, so we stopped to eat and drink beer too. We also took the unoffical Sound of Music tour. I'm a huge fan of the musical...but it really surprised me how many people go there just to go on this tour. There were Sound of Music memorabilia everywhere we went. I also got to see the building that Mozart was born in. That was pretty neat.

Well, I hope you all have a great Monday! It's back to work for me...

Christmas Card Challenge Week #37

While I was cleaning, I came across this image of Willow that I got from Wish RAK. I believe she is suppose to be drinking hot cocoa..so for this week's challenge, use anything that's related to that. Coffee, tea, mugs, etc. Since Willow is stamped on white cardstock, I cut her out and colored her in completely, lol. The sentiment is stamped on Colonial White cardstock though.

Paper: SU
Stamps: Whiff of Joy, sentiment is MFT

Baseball Ian

So remember how I told you I'm behind on my birthday cards?!? It was my friend Scot's birthday yesterday and here is the card I made. He's gonna get it late, but I did wish him a Happy Birthday yesterday.

And no, he's not turning 3, lol. Baseball is Scot's favorite sport and his favorite number is 3. When I saw this paper, I knew I had to use it. I also picked neutral colors, because Scot is color blind.

Paper: CTMH
Stamps: The Greeting Farm, sentiment is Amuse
CTMH Brads and Copics

Scot has been one of my best friends since we were freshmen in high school. His twin Randy, is one of my cousin Chris's best friends, so the 4 of us have always been close. After high school, Chris moved to Minnesota (though just moved back to OR this summer!) and Randy went to fight forest fires. Scot and I both went to Oregon State and graduated the same year. It was really nice to see my cousin Chris and Scot at my grandma's funeral.

Well, I hope you all have a great Saturday! Brent and I are going to the Mariner's game! And we're playing the Yankees! Hail to the garlic fries, lol.

Farm Fresh Friday with TGF

This week's challenge is stitching. Well, since I love my sewing machine, this challenge was an easy one for me. Check out The Greeting Farm blog to see all of the other DT cards too. I want to hang her up in my craft room. I think I will use the other 2 Miss Anyas and make one that says "create" and one that says "dream."

Paper: Basic Grey Offbeat
Stamps: The Greeting Farm
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Crystal Stickles, MS Border Punch, Nestabilities, and Copics

Last week my friend and fellow DT member Mary made this really cute card and made an inspiring award out of it. Isn't she just darling?!? Well, this is what inspired my card for today.

Now, I must admit to you, while I'm dodging the tomatoes, that I'm one of those lame people that aren't really into awards. Please don't get me wrong...I have true APPRECIATION for all of my followers, fans, and fellow artists. I'm also very HONORED when I receive awards from others as well. I just believe that everyone inspires you in a different way and it's hard to pick and single people out. I'm one of those "being fair" types, even when it's not really fair, lol. So now you all know why I don't give them out...

But this award was extra special to me, because Mary made it herself and she is truly an inspiration to me. She makes the cutest creations and I'm so happy that we both made it on the Farm together!

Everyone have a great Friday! It's almost the weekend!

Bella Twisted Challenge #8 - Charlotte Ketto Card

This week's Twisted Bella Challenge is a color challenge. The colors are Tempting Turquoise, Cameo Coral, Apricot Appeal, and Celery Green. Please use the keyword BTC8 when you upload to the Bella Forum on SCS.

I have fallen off my birthday card wagon again, but I'm trying to catch up! It's my SBS4 sister Chris's birthday tomorrow and I made this card for her. It says "belated" on it, because by the time I mail it to Canada, she will get it late.

Paper: SU
Stamps: Stamping Bella, Sentiment is Amuse
Rhinestones, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

A $15 gift voucher to Stamping Bella will be awarded for EVERY WEEKLY CHALLENGE! Each winner will be randomly drawn and will be announced in the challenge thread one week after the challenge is posted.

Everyone have a great Thursday! Here's to hoping for an uproar on BB tonight!

Happy Haunting!

It's another Halloween sneak peek for Sherrod Studio. I was fortunate to get this paper from Wish RAK and while I love the new In Colors, I'm very sad not to have Kiwi Kiss anymore. So what is your most memorable Halloween? I wasn't allowed to go Trick-or-Treating as a child, so it wasn't really a big holiday for me until I was older.

My most memorable Halloween would have to be my junior year in college. I went to a party with my sorority sister Valerie and we climbed through a window to get in. We were on the guest list, but we decided we didn't want to wait in the huge line anymore! And ironically, I dressed up as a witch that year. But my dress was green, so I like to think of myself more as Glenda and not the Wicked Witch of the West, lol.

Paper: SU
Stamps: Sherrod Studio
Prima Flowers, CTMH Brads, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

I hope you all have a great hump day! Tomorrow is release day and I'll also have my Bella challenge card for you!

Friendship Blossoms

Here is another sneek peek at a new Sherrod Design's stamp set. I truly do love flowers, though I'm allergic to pollen. So I have learned to love paper flower just as much as real ones, lol. I wanted to put Stickles on here...but I was scared it would run the ink. I forget sometimes, since I'm so use to using my Brillance inkpad. Thats what I love the most about it. The Brillance and Copic marker ink stay put even when the Stickles are on thick, lol.

I stamped my background with Heavenly Blue and stamped the outline with Crystal Blue. My main flowers I stamped Twilight on Crystal Blue cardstock. The leaves are Sweet Leaf ink on Sweet Leaf cardstock. Making this card, I felt very inspired by Laurel and Amy. Laurel always uses large flowers and images so beautifully and I love how Amy dresses up her buttons with pearls!

Paper: CTMH
Stamps: Sherrod Studio
Nestabilities, Pearls, and CTMH Buttons

Well, I hope you all have a great Tuesday! I'm interested to see who with the POV tonight on Big Brother. I really hope Jeff gets Jesse out this week. I think it would be awesome and totally rock the boat. Then it would be the house against Natalie playing for HOH, since Chima can't play again.

Sunglasses Emma and a Sherrod Studio Sneak Peek

Happy Monday! I have 2 cards for you today. My first card is for KL Stampin n Scrappin. I also used Jen del Muro's Sketch For You to Try. I really love the bright colors on this card.

Paper: Basic Grey Lime Rickey
Stamps: CC Designs, sentiment is Amuse
PTI Ribbon, Prima Flowers, Basic Grey Buttons, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

So, I will admit that this is the first time I've ever made Halloween cards in August. Sherrod Studio is releasing their new sets on Thursday and here is a sneek peek at their new Halloween set. It makes me excited for Fall to come. I love the crisp air, colored leaves, and warm snuggy sweaters. Don't forget to check out the rest of the team's projects. All of them are listed here in the Sherrod Studio Design Team list.

Paper: SU
Stamps: Sherrod Studio
CTMH Buttons, Twine, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

I finally watched Twilight this weekend...and it was actually better than I thought, since many said it was cheesy. If you don't read the book prior to seeing it, I think it might be a bit hard to understand some parts. Of the series, book 3 was my favorite, so I'm not looking forward to a depressed Bella in the next movie, lol.

I hope you all have a great Monday! It's back to work for me...
