KLSNS Blog Hop

*This is my 2nd post for today. Please scroll down to see my TGF card.*

Welcome to the first KLSNS Blog Hop! You should have arrived from Heidi's blog and if not, you will want to start at the KLSNS DT blog so that you get all the words to complete the SPARKLY phrase at the end to be entered in the drawing to win the GRAND PRIZE!

Well, obviously I was super excited when Heidi picked to do a "sparkle" theme for the blog hop! So, in her honor, I used this Heidi Pixie! Isn't she just darling?!? And Kelly will be getting the newest Pixies in the store soon!

Paper: My Minds Eye Grow and Bloom Paper
Stamps: CC Designs, sentiment is Verve Stamps
Prima Flowers, Rhinestones, Crystal Stickles, Nestabilities, and Copics

My word for you is "sparkle" and from here you'll want to make your way over to {Kelly's blog}. Isn't it awesome that Heidi let me have "sparkle" as my word! :)

Reminder: You must leave a comment on the DT blog and all DT member blogs to be eligible for the GRAND SPARKLY prize. Please send the correct phrase to steinrn@yahoo.com with KLSNS SPARKLES in the subject line by 9pm on Saturday August 8th.

We would also love for you to join us and make your own Sparkly creation. Please post your link to your creation on the KLSNS DT blog and we'll enter your name again. Plus Kelly is giving away some other surprise "blog candies" so be sure to leave comments everywhere!

Farm Fresh Friday with TGF

Today's FFF challenge is another sketch challenge. Check out the TGF Blog to see the actual sketch. Aren't you getting excited for the Blog Hop tomorrow?

I kindof cheated and made my card into a square card. As soon as I saw Bree, I just thought she was the cutest mail carrier ever, lol. Plus she's wearing a cute hat to help shade her from our 100 degree weather in the Pacific Northwest. She will be available for purchase tomorrow!

Paper: Basic Grey Lemonade
Stamps: The Greeting Farm, sentiment is Stamping Bella
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

I hope you all have a great Friday! It's almost the weekend! :)

Happiness Always Megan

On Thursdays I normally post a card for our weekly Bella Challenge. But with sneak peeks and the big birthday celebration for TGF on Saturday, I won't be able to participate this week. The challenge this week is to create a scrapbook page(s) of your garden, favorite flower or plant. Not a scrapper? Your challenge is to make a garden/flower theme card measuring 4" x 9 1/4". Please use the keyword BSBC2 when you upload to the Bella Forum.

Are you all excited for the TGF blog hop on Saturday?!? Today I have a sneak peek of Megan for you all. She will be available for purchase on the 1st. I can't get enough of this Lemonade paper. I haven't loved a stack so much since my Bittersweet paper.

Paper: Basic Grey Lemonade
Stamps: The Greeting Farm, sentiment is Amuse
Nestabilities, PTI Ribbon, PTI Buttons, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

Tomorrow I have another fun sneak peek for you and it's Farm Fresh Friday! Well, I hope you all have a great Thursday! Who will be the next HOH?!? And who's going home on SYTYCD?

For a Gracious Hostess

The theme for Angel's Landing this week is parties. Can you believe that I don't own any invitation stamps except for wedding ones?!? You can obviously tell I don't make invitations very often, but when I do, I tend to make criss cross cards. I think it's just fun to have a matching cover for the invitation.

Daffodils are my favorite, though I am allergic to pollen. Once I saw this bear, I was instantly drawn to him! Still trying to use up my Basic Grey stash and I think it goes very well.

Paper: Basic Grey Porcelain
Stamps: Angel's Landing, sentiment is PTI
Copics, Nestabilities, and MS Border Punch

For a personal shout out, I got my e-learning project back from the President and the CEO of the company yesterday...and they didn't make any edits! I'm so excited. We as the training department always get edits back so this is a huge accomplishment! :)

Everyone have a great hump day! It's suppose to be 100 degrees today...so hopefully I don't melt away. Though it's always freezing at work, so I guess I just never get a good balance, lol.

Sincere Thanks Riley

With me being on the go this whole month, I haven't shared with the virtual world some great news. Brent got promoted a few weeks ago and is now working in the Specialty Finance department. He is very happy to be out of the Branch and working at the Payment Center. It's about a mile away from the Corporate Office where I work, so it's been nice to car pool again.

Brent asked me to make him some thank you cards and this is for his prior District Manager, Gordon. He was born and raised in Canada and is a huge hockey fan like Brent. So nothing would be more fitting then my Hockey Riley.

Paper: My Minds Eye Breaking Free
Stamps: Hanna Stamps, sentiment is Amuse
CTMH Brads, Nestabilities, Liquid Glass, Copics, and CTMH Buttons

I hope you all have a great Tuesday! I'm so happy that Team Ed won last night on Bachelorette. I can't wait to see After the Final Rose tonight. And I'm interested to see who Jesse wants to backdoor on BB.

Pixie Birthday Wishes Card

Here's my card that I made this week for KL Stampin n Scrappin. We're getting ready to do a blog hop soon with great prizes! So you'll have to keep an eye out on the KLSNS Blog for the schedule.

I got this image from Wish RAK, and I don't know what kind of paper it's on. But whatever it is, isn't really that great for Copics. My markers weren't blending as I wanted them too.

Paper: Basic Grey June Bug
Stamps: CC Designs, sentiment is PTI
Prima Flowers, Basic Grey Buttons, Copics, CTMH Bigger Brads, and Crystal Stickles

For my Bachelorette fans...are you Team Ed? Or do you lovey Kipton?

Well, I hope you all have a great Monday. It's back to work for me. It was our department director's 50th birthday yesterday, so we're doing a lunch celebration for her today!

Christmas Card Challenge Week #34

Sorry I was MIA yesterday. This is the first weekend I've been home all month! My poor house has been neglected, so Brent and I spend most of Saturday doing some deep cleaning and laundry. Then we treated ourselves to a Thai dinner and watched the Hang Over. I knew it would be stupid and funny, but I actually liked it more then I thought I would. It makes me want to go back to Vegas even more, lol.

Here is another sneak peek of the new Miss Anya's that are coming out on the 1st! Isn't she just darling?!? While I was cleaning up my craft room (pictures to come soon) I found some Scenic Route paper and stickers that I've been hoarding. I used the stickers to do my sentiment. So that what this week's challenge is. Use any kind of sticker you would like on your card.

Paper: Scenic Route
Stamps: The Greeting Farm
Snowflake Punch, Crystal Stickles, CTMH Buttons, and Copics

Farm Fresh Friday with TGF

I have a sneak peek for you! I was so excited when I got this fun and cute cupcake paper from Marie! Plus, here is one of the new Miss Anyas. Both of these will be available for sale on the 1st! There's a contest on the Club Anya blog, so make sure you check it out!

Paper and Stamps: The Greeting Farm, Sentiment is PTI
Prima Flowers, Copics, Crystal Stickles, and PTI Buttons

This week's challenge is to use butterflies and flowers. I've been so busy that I think I'm starting to lose my mojo. But I busted out my June Bug paper and used Flutter Anya. Plus, you all know how much I lovey my Primas and buttons.

Paper: Basic Grey June Bug
Stamps: The Greeting Farm, Sentiment is PTI
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Crystal Stickles, Pearls, and Copics

Everyone have a great Friday! It's almost the weekend!

Bella Sketch Challenge #79 - Puppybella Card

I hate how long the Brilliance ink takes to dry, but for large images, it just works the best for me. So, when I stamp, I stamp at least 3 images at one time. That way, when I want to use it again, I already have a dry image waiting. The bad part of that is that I have boxes and boxes full of images, lol.

Though I got my new Bellas weeks ago, I haven't gotten them mounted or ready to go. They're just sitting on my desk. So going through my pre-stamped images, I just randomly picked this one out. Brent use to have a Scottie, so he insisted that it be black, lol. I realized after I took the pic, that my sentiment and middle button are a bit crooked. I have fixed that in real life.

Paper: Basic Grey Lemonade
Stamps: Stamping Bella, sentiment is PTI
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, and Copics

When you upload your card to the Bella Forum, please use the keyword BSC79.

A $15 gift voucher to Stamping Bella will be awarded for EVERY WEEKLY CHALLENGE! Each winner will be randomly drawn and will be announced in the challenge thread one week after the challenge is posted.

Everyone have a great Thursday!

Mr. and Mrs. Smith

Since I became Mrs. Smith, Catherine used the theme from the movie for my bachelorette party. Catherine was my Maid of Honor and she planned all of this as a surprise. I knew I was having a party, but I got no details. All I knew was what time someone was coming to pick me up.

The girls surprised me first with getting a hotel room at the Juniper Hotel. Then we had a night on the town. I love downtown Portland, so I couldn't of imagined a better place to do it...well, maybe Vegas, lol.

You can click on the layout to view it larger.

Paper: My Minds Eye Breaking Free
Stamps: CTMH Hodgepodge Alphabet
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, and Thickers

Catherine got all sorts of fun stuff. We had a bun pincher, lol, a man finder, spy binoculars and lots of flair! I told Catherine no veil with condoms on it, so she got me a cool tiara! :) Much more my style.

I hope you all have a great hump day. With my life finally winding down, I'm really trying to get all caught up with everything.

ETA: I did pick my winner for the Angel's Landing blog candy last week. Sorry I didn't post it on here. Lisa Cook was my winner and she's already gotten her digital images! Thanks ladies!

Created By Courtney Challenge #41

Today's challenge is suppose to be a summer beach theme. Since I wasn't home all weekend, I didn't really get to make anything for it. I kindof cheated...and I hope you're all sitting down. I actually scrapbooked! :)

If you're new or newer to my blog...these pictures were taken last summer at my bachelorette party. Shannon and Catherine were my roommates in college, hence the name "roomies." I miss them tons as we all live in separate states now. But I'm excited to see Shannon at her baby shower in August. And I found out last week that Catherine will be coming home for Christmas! :)

Paper: My Minds Eye Breaking Free
Stamps: CTMH Hodgepodge Alphabet
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, and Thickers

Journaling: The girls took me to Henry's and we got martinis and sushi. It was my first time there and I really enjoyed it. Now when I visit home, I always look forward to going there.

This layout has been sitting on the floor for the last 6 weeks. Marjorie and Pat always make such lovely layouts and they totally inspire me. I think I'm ready to move out of my scrapping hiatus. I have over a thousand pictures of my wedding and my honeymoon. After I printed them all, I told myself I wouldn't print out anymore until I finished scrapping them. I think I'm gonna break that, since I think scrapping pics of Michael and Emily will help me get my scrapping mojo back.

You guys always say I'm the trendy one, but I know I'm the last to be on the thicker's bandwagon. I'm seriously addicted to them now...and my cricut still needs to be unpacked, lol.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the team's projects. All of them are listed here in this CBC Challenge Chicks list. If you play along with us, remember to link your creation to Courtney's blog, and you could win a prize from Courtney! If you upload to SCS, the keyword is CBCC41.

Everyone have a great Tuesday!

Cute as a Button

Here is a card for KL Stampin n Scrappin. I am switching days with Jessica this week on the KL blog, but since I was gone all weekend and don't have anything else to show, I decided to still show my card here today.

I just got this Emma stamp and had to use her. Isn't she just adorable?!? I didn't really plan on taking the picture with my buttons, but they were already sitting on my desk. While I love that the PTI buttons are all different, sometimes it takes awhile to get a few that will match up with each other.

Paper: Basic Grey Lemonade
Stamps: CC Designs, sentiment is Amuse
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

Here's a picture of Brent and I at the wedding. It was quite warm (no air conditioning at the place), so I made Brent some pics with me before he started taking off more of his tux.

Everyone have a great Monday. It's back to work for me...

Christmas Card Challenge Week #33

I saw this really cute card on the Greeting Farm blog the other day...and I used it as inspiration for my card this week. I really liked how she did the strips of paper on her card, so your challenge is to use strips of paper. This snow Miss Anya is my favorite I think...well, besides Geisha Anya.

I pop-dotted Anya's head and her hand warmer. I can't decide if I like the depth or if it makes her look like a turtle, lol. And while it's so pale, her jacket is really, really light pink.

Paper: My Minds Eye
Stamps: The Greeting Farm, Sentiment is Amuse
Snowflake Punch, PTI Buttons, Copics, Nestabilities, and Crystal Stickles

Mr. Linky Note: Please link directly to the blog post or gallery page where we can view/comment on your creation and not just the generic link to your blog. Thanks and please still post a comment!

Everyone have a great Sunday. Brent and I plan on eating breakfast with my family and spend some time with the bitty siblings. We'll also see the new couple one last time before heading home!

Feeling Groovy

This Anya is a special edition, so hurry, hurry, and scoop one up while you can! I've had this CTMH paper forever...and am finally getting around to using it. I think it fits this Anya perfectly!

Paper: CTMH Magic Moments
Stamps: The Greeting Farm, sentiment is Stamping Bella
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Crystal Stickles and Copics

Today will be consumed with Scott and Paula's wedding. I'm excited to see my friends and actually have time to chit chat with them. It's awesome not being the bride, lol.

Don't forget to sign up for the HAPPY ANYAversary BLOG HOPPIN' BASH!!!

This will be an all-customer blog hop, open to all of our TGF and Club Anya fans. We want you to create a birthday card, birthday layout, or 3D birthday project using any TGF stamp. Please RSVP by Thursday, July 30th at Noon CST. No exceptions as we hope this will be a VERY big list of hoppers! Email Jessica at yeahshestamps@gmail.com to RSVP. Please put "ANYAVERSARY" in your subject line, thanks!

Everyone have a great Saturday!

Farm Fresh Friday with TGF

I got my Mr. Linky fixed! Thanks Danni! :) I have already added Stephanie, Stacy, and Gena's cards. The original ones posted are still there too. Thanks ladies for playing with me!

This week's challenge is a sketch challenge. Check out the Greeting Farm blog to see the sketch.

Who are my Peter Pan fans? As soon as I saw this Anya, it instantly made me think of Tiger Lily. And not to be disrespectful in anyway, but I always think of the song, What Makes the Red Man Red. I found this clip of the movie (Disney version) on You Tube if you want to know all about Red. :)

Paper: CTMH Sarsaparilla
Stamps: The Greeting Farm, sentiment is PTI
PTI Buttons, Twine, and Copics

Today I'm heading back to P-town. Scott, Brent's identical twin, is getting married tomorrow. Tonight we have rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. I remember at our wedding, people kept congratulating Scott, lol. People obviously couldn't tell that their tuxes were different! :) I'm sure Brent will get the same thing all day tomorrow...

I will be home on Sunday night and I do have scheduled posts over the weekend. I have more Anya cards for you and of course my Christmas Card Challenge on Sunday. So everyone have a great and safe weekend!

Angel's Landing Blog Hop

Welcome to the July Angels Landing Blog Hop. If you missed the beginning of the hop, head over to Judi's blog and follow the links. If you came here from Jennifer's blog, you're right on track. Today the Design Team is introducing two new digital image sets for July, Marching Band 1 and Marching Band 2.

Since I started my Christmas Card Challenges, I've made over 60 Christmas cards this year already. I was really excited when the DT got these and can't wait to add this card to my stack! I've never really understood Christmas in July though...since the half way mark is really in June, lol.

Paper: Basic Grey Figgy Pudding
Stamps: Angel's Landing, Sentiment is PTI
CTMH Ribbon, Copics, Crystal Stickles, and Nestabilities

Don't forget to comment today. By doing so, you'll be entered to win some free digital stamps. I will randomly draw my winner tomorrow.

Your next stop on the blog hop is {Cheryl Rowley's blog}.

**On a much more personal note...my cousin Bobby posted the slide show we created for my Grandma's memorial service on You Tube. If you want to watch it, you can click here. The first song in the video is in Hmong, followed by a Rascal Flatts song. We asked everyone for their favorite pictures and we included some quotes from the grand children.

The hardest thing about putting the slide show together was that about 1/3 of the pictures that were picked for the slide show had my mom in them. I've always lived far away from most of my cousins, so I forget sometimes how much my mom influenced so many lives.**

Chill Out Dude

This is Edward if he were a "real" boy, lol. I'm not sure what happened to my brads when I edited this picture in Photoshop...but those brads in the upper left part of the card are real.

Paper: the Greeting Farm Dirty Rodeo
Stamps: the Greeting Farm, Sentiment is Stamping Bella
CTMH Bigger Brads, PTI Buttons, and Copics

Have you been looking at the sneak peaks on the Club Anya blog? Don't forget, tonight we're having our July VSN. Don't miss out on the fun challenges and your chance to win! The new Anya and Ians are just darling!

So Bachelorette fans...I'm so happy Ed is in the top 2! :) My BB fans...it's getting interesting...but we'll see how it rolls. I'm indifferent about Jesse, so we'll see how he does this season. I think Shema is annoying, lol. It's Power of Veto tonight.

Everyone have a great Tuesday!

Family...

I hope to post a KL Stampin n Scrappin card later today. I got home quite a bit later on Sunday then I anticipated, so I'm a little behind. After Scott's wedding this coming weekend, my life should return back to normal.

Here's a picture with most of my cousins. Not everyone was able to come up from Fresno, but these are the ones who all came up to Portland. It's always nice to see my family, as I don't get to see all of my cousins very often. My grandma will be buried on Wednesday down in Fresno. Unfortunately Brent and I won't be able to go, because of Scott's wedding.

Look how tan Emily's gotten! With so much going on, I didn't really get to spend that much time with Michael and Emily...but I got a couple quick photos in between everything.

Everyone have a great Monday! It's back to work for me...

Christmas Card Challenge Week #32

This week is going to be a double challenge. The first part is the sketch. The second part is to use 1 colored cardstock (I don't count your image if it's on white), 2 stamps, 2 embellishments, and 5 pieces of paper. You can do either one...or both...or if you really hate it, lol...just make a Christmas card. :)

I got this Sugar Nellie image from Wish RAK. I know it's not a Christmas image, but I thought it would be fun to make it seem like she was coming to her mail box and getting some Christmas cards, lol. My card looks really washed out...so sorry for the poor quality of it.

Paper: Basic Grey Wassail
Stamps: Sugar Nellie, Sentiment is Amuse
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, and Copics

Mr. Linky Note: Please link directly to the blog post or gallery page where we can view/comment on your creation and not just the generic link to your blog. To get the full url, click the title of your blog post (which will load a page that has just that post on it), then copy and paste the URL into the Mr. Linky form. Thanks and please still post a comment!

Everyone have a great Sunday! Big Brother is on tonight! :)

Hi There Suzette Ketto Card

Are you ready for another bright orange card?!? I made this card awhile back and just never posted it.

I was surprised by the quick shipping and received my Bella package on Friday...of course right before I'm getting ready to leave. At least I have something fun to come back home to! :) The new Bella water bottle is just darling.

Paper: Basic Grey Ambrosia
Stamps: Stamping Bella, Sentiment is PTI
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Crystal Stickles, and Copics

I hope you all have a great weekend. I'm so excited to see my bitty siblings. :) And I feel bad because I don't ever really talk about my brother Brien (he's 25), but I love him just as much...he's just not as cute as Michael and Emily, lol.

Farm Fresh Friday with TGF

This week's challenge is Supplies, Supplies! Use punches, bling, and at least 2 TGF stamps on your card.

You're gonna have to bust out the sunglasses for my card today! I realized I've made a ton of pink cards lately and decided to spice it up a bit. Though there's a ton of different patterns going on, I think it came out quite well. It's more simple then I usually do, but I think more embellishments would take away from the paper.

Paper: K&Co Citronella
Stamps: the Greeting Farm
Rhinestones and Copics

Are you excited for the Anya and Ian release on the 15th?!? Jessica just posted the release details and challenges on the Club Anya blog. It's going to be a blast next Tuesday! I can't wait to show off the new little guys!

I'm driving down to Portland today right after work. My grandma's memorial service is on Saturday morning. Much love to everyone and have a great weekend.
