I'm sorry that things have been kind of chaotic around here. It's been a busy week of releases, blog hops, blog candy, and challenges. In my personal life, it's also been a busy week at work. I just finished an e-learning supplemental piece for some of our training. My project is going to the CFO and President today.

I also have a busy week ahead of me. I am so excited for the new Greeting Farm release on Wednesday! I will also be giving away some blog candy that day, so mark your calendars. Then Brent and I are going to Orcas Island for our anniversary. Gotta love the long holiday weekends!

I hope you all have a great Monday! It's back to work for me!

Playing at the Beach

I have closed the comments on my Saturday post. Remember to look on the Sherrod Studio blog on the 1st to see if you've won a free stamp set!

Here is another sneek peak from Sherrod Studio. Brent and I met on 4th of July, so this card kindof reminds me of us.

First off, I want to say a huge thank you to all of you who did my challenge last week! 11 people is the most I've ever had and I truly appreciate it! I can't wait to see what you all make this week.

It's very rare that I would do two of the same challenges in a row...but since Alanna asked for a sketch from this card, I did what she wanted. :) Ask and you shall receive, lol. So, we have another sketch challenge this week.

Paper: SU
Stmaps: House Mouse
Snowflake Punch, PTI Buttons, Crystal Stickles, and Copics

fairies.

Bella Birthday Bash Prezzibella With Hat Card

If you're looking for the Bella Blog Hop post, click HERE.

Since Emily turned 37 this year, my birthday challenge is to use 3 embellishments and 7 pieces of paper (or layers) on a card. Dani made some cute birthday cards awhile ago with her leftover Basic Grey Cupcake paper, so that inspired me to use up some of mine for this challenge.

I would like to thank Vicki for hosting my challenge last night! I really appreciate it!

Paper: Basic Grey Cupcake
Stamps: Stamping Bella, Sentiment is
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Crystal Stickles, and Copic Markers

You have until 8 pm Sunday night (June 28th) to upload your card. Please use the keyword BELLAJUN0901 when uploading to the Bella Forum on SCS. We will post the winners in the Bella Forum on Monday!

It's Friday and almost the weekend! I'm going to IKEA tomorrow. :)

Stamping Bella Birthday Blog Hop - Cakeabella and Prezzibella Cards

Welcome to the Birthday Blog Skip, Hop & Dance sponsored by Stamping Bella! Today we're celebrating Emily's birthday! The Queen Bella herself will be 37 years young. If you've just happened upon my blog, you can CLICK HERE to start from the beginning at Bloggabella.

I own all da Bellas, but Cakeabella (my first card) is my favorite Birthday Bella stamp. She probably gets the most use out of all my stamps, lol. Since Emily has such a spunky personality, I wanted to just do something really fun with my second card. Orange has become a new favorite color for me and I don't color my Bellas blonde very often. I love how my card turned out with my Sassafrass paper.

You can click on each picture to view them larger.

Paper: My Minds Eye Bloom and Grow
Stamps: Stamping Bella, Sentiment is CTMH
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

Paper: Sassafrass
Stamps: Stamping Bella, Sentiment is Amuse
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Crystal Stickles, and Copics

How about a prize? In addition to the fabulous eye candy, we have decided to hide a prize somewhere along the hop! One pre-selected blogger will draw a random winner from the comments on her post, and the winner will receive a $40 Gift Voucher to Stamping Bella!!! The fun part is...we're not telling you who it is! So as you hop, make sure you leave comments on every post so you have a chance to win!! We will announce the winner on Monday in the Splitcoast forum. MWAH!

Don't forget, we have a birthday party tonight in the Stamping Bella Forum. We'll have challenges, more prizes, and of course we'll be chatting! Come join the fun with the Splitcoast Sistahbellas!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Now it's time to hop on over to {Kadie's blog}. Have a great day!

Angel's Landing Gift Card Holder and Card

Can you tell that orange is my new favorite summer color?!? For Angel's Landing this week our theme is gift card holders. In my wallet, I only had a Starbucks and a Macy's gift card. Since I'm OCD and my project has to be "matchy, matchy," I went with my Starbucks card. :)

ETA: If you click on the picture, you can see it larger.

Paper: My Minds Eye Penny Lane
Stamps: Angel's Landing Aussie Animals, Sentiment is PTI
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Crystal Stickles, CTMH Ribbon, and Copic Markers

Guess who's turning 2 today?!? Isn't my baby brother just the cutest guy on the block?!? He just turned 1 right before my wedding last year. That picture of him in his mini tux is my favorite! Kiddos grow up way too fast, lol. And don't worry, I'm not giving him the Starbucks gift card. :)

Everyone have a great hump day!

Mousey Birthday

I am starting on my July birthday cards, since I have a lot on my calendar! My co-worker Frank works at the Training Center down in San Diego. I was blessed with a fun business trip a couple years ago and we had a blast setting up his brand new Training Center. I think Frank is turning 43...but you wouldn't think he's a day over 28. He's so young at heart!

Paper: SU Washington Apple
Stamps: Whiff of Joy, Sentiment is Amuse
CTMH Buttons, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

We moved the Training Center from Oceanside down to El Cajon. I was living in Denver at the time, so I was excited to see the beach while I was there! We tease every year, why can't we have our Training Summits down there instead of rainy Seattle, lol.

Everyone have a great Tuesday!

Sunglasses Emma

Here is my card for KL Stampin n Scrappin. I tried to make Emma look like a cute little tan baby, but to me she just looks burnt in the face, lol. She's still adorable though!

Paper: My Minds Eye Breaking Free
Stamps: CC Designs, sentiment is PTI
Prima Flowers, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

I bought these papers and I've been holding out in the hopes that I would actually scrapbook, lol. So I finally cut into them...and still no layout. Thats okay, I love my cute card!

Everyone have a great Monday! It's back to work for me... and for the love of me...please get rid of Wes tonight! Gotta love my Bachelorette!

Christmas Card Challenge Week #29

This week's challenge is a sketch challenge. I was a total dork and left my laptop at work. I made this sketch in Paint, which was so hard for me since I'm so use to using Photoshop, lol.
This is another stamp that I bought last year and still haven't used until now. And just for the record, I only have 3 sheets of Figgy Pudding paper left! :) Then I'll be digging into my Wassail paper.

Paper: Basic Grey Figgy Pudding
Stamps: Stamping Bella, Sentiment is Amuse
Snowflake Punch, CTMH Brads, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

Mr. Linky Note: Please link directly to the blog post or gallery page where we can view/comment on your creation and not just the generic link to your blog. A Riley Father's Day Card

Here is the card I made for my dad. My family is getting ready to go to Minnesota to visit Anna's family. Since I was just down in Portland for my dad's retirement party, I decided to just stay home this weekend. I know they'll appreciate having more time to pack.

With my dad retiring, this will be the first year ever in my life to not buy my dad a tie and dress socks for Father's Day, lol. Guess I'll have to actually start being more creative with my gifts. :)

Paper: Basic Grey Granola
Stamps: Hanna Stamps, Sentiment is CTMH
CTMH Brads, PTI Buttons, and Copics

Everyone enjoy their weekend! I'll be crafting, grocery shopping, and cleaning.

Aloha Grace and some Housekeeping

Housekeeping
A couple of weeks ago, I decided to start cleaning up my blog and moved things around. People have been emailing me about my Copic Marker link. I took it down because it had been up forever and I thought it wasn't important anymore. Well, I was totally wrong about that, lol, so I'm sorry. I need to update it and then I will be posting it back up. I know how to get you lurkers to come out now, lol! :)

My card
Last week's challenge from the Greeting Farm was to make a 1 layer card. I tried twice and gave up, lol. I've learned to accept that I'm a layers kind of girl. Stubborn, I know...it's the Aries in me. So instead, I made this cute card with Grace. Doesn't she go perfect with Hula Anya and Surfer Ian?

Paper: DCWV Citrus Stack
Stamps: the Greeting Farm, sentiment is PTI
Copics, Prima Flowers, Basic Grey Buttons, and Crystal Stickles

Everyone have a great Friday! It's almost the weekend and I have the house to myself! :) Brent's going down to Portland for Scott's bachelor party, so I'll be buried in my craft room!

Bella Sketch Challenge #78 - Kenya Ketto Card

The Splitcoast Sistah Bellas have a fun sketch challenge for you this week. I altered Jamie's sketch a little bit, as I made a square card instead of a standard rectangle one.

You'll need to pull out the sunglasses for my card! I've been in a hot pink mood lately, so you'll be seeing alot of it. My dream stamp has always been a Bella holding a sparkler, so that I could have a Sparkabella, lol. But I can settle for this cute Ketto. :)

Paper: K and Co Citronella
Stamps: Stamping Bella, Sentiment is PTI
Prima Flowers, Copics, Nestabilities, and Crystal Stickles

A $15 gift voucher to Stamping Bella will be awarded for EVERY WEEKLY CHALLENGE! Each winner will be randomly drawn and will be announced in the challenge thread one week after the challenge is posted.

Here is the thread to the Bella Forum on Splitcoast. When you upload your card on SCS use the keyword BSC78. You do have to post your entries on Split Coast to be entered for the gift voucher.

Next Thursday is going to be a huge Bella celebration! It's Emily's birthday and she's having a huge release! We'll be having a blog hop and a birthday party in the Bella Forum. I'll be hosting a challenge and of course we'll be giving lots of great prizes! So mark your calendars!

Everyone have a great Thursday!

Sweet Pixie Greta

With summer around the corner, it makes me wish I still had a summer vacation, lol. On Saturday I went to Maple Valley Days and I got some shaved ice. It reminded me of the summer I spent taking summer classes and living in the Sorority House with Catherine and Shannon. I miss the 50 cent snow cones. :)

Here is my fun summer card for KL Stampin n Stampin. Isn't Greta just the cutest thing?!? I'll admit that I made my Anya card from yesterday back to back with this card. It was weird to go from Christmas to Summer. Marjorie gave me these fun papers last year and I'm finally letting go and am using them up, lol.

Paper: Bo Bunny
Stamps: CC Designs, sentiment is Amuse
Prima Flowers, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

On another note...yesterday while I was on SCS, I saw a banner for Moneytree. It's always funny to me when I see my company's stuff, lol.

Are you ready for Tanner to tell everyone it's Wes that has a girlfriend?!? Its gonna be drama in Whistler tonight baby! Gotta love Bachelorette, lol. Everyone have a great Monday...its back to work for me.

Christmas Card Challenge Week #28

This week's challenge is to use a new stamp. Even though I'm sure no one has bought a new Christmas stamp recently, I know a few of you probably still have some that are un-inked from Thanksgiving 08. :)

And I just wanted to say as a little reminder...there aren't any strict rules to my challenges. Make as many or few cards as you'd like. Do the challenge or just make a Christmas card that you like, lol. Anyone can play and you can join any time. It's still not too late...there's plenty of time before the holidays!

Paper: Basic Grey Figgy Pudding
Stamps: the Greeting Farm, sentiment is Amuse
Prima Flowers, PTI Buttons, Copics, Crystal Stickles, Liquid Applique

When these Miss Anyas came out, I just had to have them. The umbrella one is perfect for Seattle and the winter one is perfect for this challenge, lol.

Mr. Linky Note: Please link directly to the blog post or gallery page where we can view/comment on your creation and not just the generic link to your blog. To get the full url, click the title of your blog post (which will load a page that has just that post on it), then copy and paste the URL into the Mr. Linky form. Thanks and please still post a comment!

Vancouver, BC

So the slacker that I am...I've waited until now to book our hotel for the Olympics. I lucked out and found this really cute Bed and Breakfast and it's right in Vancouver. It seems like every hotel from Seattle to Vancouver is sold out for the month of February 2010.

I'm excited to see the men's quarter final hockey playoffs in the GM Place, but kindof sad that we won't be seeing the Canucks, lol. I know it's going to be a crazy time, but I'm looking forward to my first Olympic experience. I'm still trying to convince Brent into Summer Olympics 2012 in London. :) Wouldn't that be a great 4 year anniversary?!?

Sushi No Suki Wasabi Ketto Thank You Card

Are you sick of Wasabi yet?!? I promise you that I do own other Kettos, lol. They're sitting un-inked in a pile. But Wasabi is my favorite and when we did the blog hop last month, I knew I wanted to use her. Here's another card I made with her and lookie...no Primas, lol.

Paper: Prima Peaches
Stamps: Stamping Bella, Sentiment is Amuse
CTMH Ribbon, Button, Twine, Copics, and Rhinestones

I'll confess...Sushi No Suki is my new favorite game on Facebook. You're a Sushi Chef and have to make people food. It's pretty entertaining, lol.

Everyone enjoy the weekend! Anything fun planned?
