Henry Celebrating

Here is another card I made for my co-worker Yvonne. Since her granddaughter is turning one, I thought this would be an adorable cupcake image to use. Though its a little modified, I also used Amy's sketch (Sarah's daughter) for this card.

Paper: SU Razzleberry Lemonade
Stamps: Whiff of Joy, sentiment is Amuse
CTMH Brads, Copics, Crystal Stickles, Nestabilities, Prima Flowers, American Craft Buttons

I do all of my Christmas shopping on Black Friday and I always get excited for the crazy day. Since I'm not capable of sleeping early, each year my recovery time from lack of sleep gets longer and longer, lol. But I'm happy to say I am completely done shopping and I got some great deals. I was a good girl...didn't buy anything crafty for myself. :) I was really tempted with the Walmart ad for the Cricut stuff.

It's Nona's birthday on Monday, but we're celebrating a little early. A group of us is going to dinner and then crafting at Nona's. I will be addressing all of my Christmas cards. Every year my brother and I helped my parents seal all the envelopes and stamps with a wet sponge. That was back when they didn't have self-sealing envelopes and stamps. Gosh, that makes me sound old. :)

Everyone have a wonderful Saturday!

  1. Sparkle, I LOVE everything about this card!! The SU DSP, the oh-so-cute stamp, your coloring, the shadows, & sentiment...just lovely! You are SO good for getting all of your shopping done! I, too, used to get the majority of my shopping on Black Friday. But alas, it's harder when U have a baby. Am looking forward to cyber Monday though :). Enjoy your weekend festivities!

  4. Oh goodness! This card is one of the sweetest I've seen in a long time. That image is adorable (even if it is a mouse, and you should know how I feel about those critters~I might think differently if they were this cute and bringing me a cupcake, though~LOL)

I'm impressed that you not only braved the crowds, you survived AND got your shopping done! Wow!

I remember those days, too, of sealing the envelopes! hee, hee
