Happy Haunting!

It's another Halloween sneak peek for Sherrod Studio. I was fortunate to get this paper from Wish RAK and while I love the new In Colors, I'm very sad not to have Kiwi Kiss anymore. So what is your most memorable Halloween? I wasn't allowed to go Trick-or-Treating as a child, so it wasn't really a big holiday for me until I was older.

My most memorable Halloween would have to be my junior year in college. I went to a party with my sorority sister Valerie and we climbed through a window to get in. We were on the guest list, but we decided we didn't want to wait in the huge line anymore! And ironically, I dressed up as a witch that year. But my dress was green, so I like to think of myself more as Glenda and not the Wicked Witch of the West, lol.

Paper: SU
Stamps: Sherrod Studio
Prima Flowers, CTMH Brads, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

I hope you all have a great hump day! Tomorrow is release day and I'll also have my Bella challenge card for you!

  2. Aww, she's really cute. The orange and green reminds me of fall (my favorite season).

I loved Trick-or-Treating when I was younger and our parents didn't have to go out with us. We could just run all over the neighborhood without the scare of all the "weirdos" out there. Nowadays we have to walk the kids to each house, which of course I don't mind, I just wish they could have the kind of memories I have.

    Happy Hump Day to you!

  3. adorable card! My favorite thing about Halloween is dressing up, so my most memorable would have to be my freshman year at college... My hair was short and spiky then, so I let my inner punk out and dressed up like Josie from Josie and the Pussycats. I dyed my hair pink, wore heavy, heavy makeup, dressed up in my best punk duds and wore little white cat ears. I had so much fun going to work and class that day! :)

  5. Oh, this witch is darling! Love the card you made below too! Way cute! I think my favorite Halloween memory is my daughter's First Halloween. I made her a Chick-fil-A cow costume, because my husband owns a CFA. So, we sat at our store and handed out candy to the other kids. She was 11 months old.

I've never been a big fan of Halloween - either as a kid or as an adult.. Now we have fun hanging out w/friends, BBQing and passing out candy all together!

  8. Such a cute witch! So far my most memorable Halloween was just a couple years ago. We went to a church Halloween party and Caitlyn had a panic attack! Poor thing. She can't go trick or treating because most costumes make her panic but she does love to dress up. So instead we just do some fun photo shoots, play games, and visit family and friends!

  10. What a cute card, she is such a Happy witch.

My most memorable Halloween was probably my Senior year in college. I had a casted arm & leg from an accident. We went to a costume party and I didn't dress up. But all night long, people kept telling me how "realistic" my costume was. After awhile of explaining it was real I gave up and just went along with it.

  15. Awesome card!! I need to use my top note die more! My most memorable Halloween isn't that great of a memory - got into a car accident and looked like a moron (I dressed as a not very classy version of Barbie... you can imagine how I looked when the cops got there! LOL!!)

  17. Love that little witchy! Once I was too old for trick or treating, I always wanted to fast forward to November so I could decorate for Christmas. Now that I have children of the right age to really enjoy Halloween (and they are at the perfect age..) it is lots of fun. We actually had a Halloween party last year, with some children from our neighbourhood. I made invites, we had a treasure hunt, witch's brew, the kiddos loved it. We're planning another one this year.

    Cheers, Shanna

  20. I really like that the witch is cute and not mean and nasty. Adorable card!! We didn't get to trick or treat as kids either, so my most memorable Halloween is the first year that I did -- as a 16-year-old -- LOL!
