Sunglasses Emma

Here is my card for KL Stampin n Scrappin. I tried to make Emma look like a cute little tan baby, but to me she just looks burnt in the face, lol. She's still adorable though!

Paper: My Minds Eye Breaking Free
Stamps: CC Designs, sentiment is PTI
Prima Flowers, Copics, and Crystal Stickles

I bought these papers and I've been holding out in the hopes that I would actually scrapbook, lol. So I finally cut into them...and still no layout. Thats okay, I love my cute card!

Everyone have a great Monday! It's back to work for me... and for the love of me...please get rid of Wes tonight! Gotta love my Bachelorette!

  1. She's a cutie! And, I know what you mean - way more card making happens than scrapbooking, though I'm itching to scrap! Now when I buy papers, I usually just assume I'll use them for cards and if I scrapbook with them, I consider it bonus! I guess for me, scrapbooking means I need to be more prepared and organized before I begin, which is not always possible. Also, I look at card making as "immediate gratification" as the process is quicker in creating a card! Have a great day!

  6. Too cute Sparkle. Scrapbooking can be a chore, because it does take quite a bit of preparation. Still worth it, I think, to have memories documented.

  8. Adorable card! She looks nice and tan to me. LOL

As for scrapping...look into digital scrapbooking. That way you can devote your fun papers to the cards and there is definitely less prep work involved in doing layouts digitally. Check out www.jessicasprague.com this week as she's have a 2nd Birthday Bash on the site. There's an upcoming FREE class, too!

    Have a great MOnday!

  14. I don't know what you're talking about - she looks tan to me! :) I can't do what you did: cut into a full piece of paper for a card. Because I KNOW the minute I do, I'll want it for a layout, lol! can't wait to see you Wednesday!
